Property & Lodging Policies
Smartphones, Tablets, Computers, and Electronics
There is wireless internet access at the main Lodge with your own laptop/smartphone/tablet. Phones and TVs are not provided in any of the rooms, chalets, or suites. Guests find this a refreshing getaway. Cell phone service varies in areas due to the mountains and valleys but is accessible on most of the property. Verizon tends to have the best service. Please tell all of your party that our dining room is an “electronics-free zone.” For just a bit, have dinner in 1886!
Quiet Hours
We request quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 10:00 AM. Please be courteous to fellow guests. There is free wifi in the main Lodge – this is a great opportunity to disconnect and reconnect.
Alcoholic Beverages
We have an onsite restaurant and liquor license from the State of New York. This license and our insurance require that you keep any alcoholic beverage that has not been purchased from the Lake Clear Lodge inside your lodging at all times. Please do not bring your beverages outside your lodging into any public areas; they will be confiscated per our liquor license and insurance. Thank you for your understanding.
Pets
If you are bringing a pet, please keep them on a leash at all times when you are outside your lodging. If you have not, inquire with us to be sure that your lodging is pet-friendly and the appropriate fees have been paid. Please Note: housekeeping will not be provided if you have a pet with you. We are happy to bring you needed items or provide housekeeping (if your pet is not in the building) upon request.
Smoking Policy
All of our lodgings and the 1886 Main Lodge are non-smoking facilities. We thank you for not smoking inside and provide several smoking areas that you may use. There is a $200 fee for smoking inside any of our buildings.
Third-Party Activities & Inclusions
Any activities that are not provided directly by the Lake Clear Lodge (i.e., sleigh rides, stagecoach rides, attraction tickets, etc.) are subject to change or cancellation as they are beyond our control, and therefore be will be confirmed upon your arrival. Lake Clear Lodge resort credit is not applicable to third-party activities, e.g. Stagecoach rides.
Other
We are not responsible for any costs, damages, losses, or other unfavorable circumstances set upon you resulting directly or indirectly from acts of government, terrorism, pandemic, revolution, rioting, war, weather and acts of nature, or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Lake Clear Lodge & Retreat or its partners.
